Course Description

How can we pay attention on purpose, in the present moment, and nonjudgmentally? Mindfulness offers embodied awareness practices for how we use media (or how media uses us)—and can serve as a public health intervention. In this course, students will read and discuss mindfulness-focused texts and discover practices of attention and awareness through the curriculum of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction.
