Course Description

If you’re thinking about writing a children's book, either fiction or nonfiction, this one-session seminar will both ground you in today’s Children’s Book World and help you move forward in readying your book for readers. Highlights include the wealth of publishing possibilities– the segments, formats, genres, marketplace and reader considerations, as well as the rich publishing opportunities – mentorships, grants, contests and professional connections. Participants will have the opportunity to share a book idea so that its likely audience, format and marketability can be assessed.  Next Steps will be offered.
