WRIT32802 - Deep Revision: Developing Your Fiction

Course Description

Go beyond merely editing your work and re-envision it! In this class, you’ll learn how to find the most crucial bits of living matter within your stories and provide them with the light and space they need to grow, allowing your work-in-progress to become a fully developed piece of fiction.

You will need to pick one story or chapter that is 5000 words or fewer (between 10-20 pages) to revise this term. Bring a hard copy of your story or chapter to the first class session. You should also bring the most current draft of your story to every subsequent class session, so you can consult it as needed during our in-class exercises.
