HUAS80000 - Exploration and Discovery in the Early Novel

Course Description

The British novel came into its own during the 18th century, an era that also saw expansions of colonialism and exploration. This course will consider novels by Behn, Defoe, Swift, Johnson, and Shelley that imagine life beyond the bounds of Europe.

Taking a Graham School Remote Course: You will receive an invitation to join Canvas about a week before the course begins.
